Our Story

Acrelabs is a leading cannabis testing lab, providing fast, accurate, and reliable results to growers, manufacturers, and businesses across the industry. Our journey began as part of Steep Hill Arkansas (est. 2018) and Steep Hill Illinois (est. 2023), serving large, state-licensed growers. However, in 2023, the Steep Hill network dissolved, leading to brand confusion in the market.

New Chapters

In response, we opened a new lab in October 2024 in Louisiana, establishing a fresh name and a renewed commitment to quality and innovation. In 2025, we completed the transition from Steep Hill Arkansas to Acrelabs, establishing a unified brand across our growing network of laboratories. As a result, we now operate beyond state borders, offering cutting-edge CBD, hemp, and cannabis testing to a nationwide market. Acrelabs is excited to announce our expansion into Missouri’s cannabis market. In January 2026 we took over management of Cloud Ten’s laboratory operations while the state reviews our application for license transfer. Once approved, Missouri will join our growing network of testing facilities across Arkansas, Louisiana, and Illinois – bringing our fast, accurate, and ISO 17025 accredited testing services to Missouri’s licensed operators.
